| ATLAS Tipper Semi Trailers are specifically designed and fabricated to suit your purpose and match your specifications. The body super structure is fabricated from high strength, heat treated fine grain steel which gives ATLAS Tipper Semi Trailers extra strength and durability. A higher tipping angle, short tipping time and low center of gravity are some of the unique features of ATLAS design and engineering concepts, which ensures high level of stability and troublefree operation. |

| The wide range of ATLAS Tipper Semi Trailer covers capacities of 22 cbm, 32 cbm, 40 cbm, 45 cbm to suit your specific requirements. |
| SUPERSTRUCTURE |
A) The front and side walls are firmly welded to the
floor to form a solid unit. The slanted side stiffeners make the body
extra strong to withstand dynamic impact loads.
B) The tail gate is hinged at the top and has
maximum discharge opening and is equipped with automatic locking and
unlocking device.
C) The superstructure of floor and body runner is
fabricated from sections channels conforming to BS
4360.
D) The stabilizer frame is fabricated from hot
rolled square sections conforming to BS 4360 and is hinged to trailer
and body runner with high tensile steel shafts and
bushes. |
| TRAILER |
| The main rail frame of a trailer is constructed from
hot rolled steel beams. The cross members are from pressed steel
sections. Heavy duty anti under run rear bumper is constructed from hot
rolled rectangular section and steel sheets. |
| KING PIN AND LANDING GEAR
: |
| The king pin is fitted on 12 mm thick steel rubbing
plate at the front end underneath the main rail of the trailer. The size
of the king pin is 2" interchangeable with 31/2" depending
upon the king pin load. Heavy duty telescopic landing gear one/two side
operation with static load capacity depending on the final capacity and
application. |
| RUNNING GEAR (AXLES)
: |
| The axles fitted on trailer are tandem axle heavy
duty with multi leaf spring suspensions of
capacity 24000 kg to 32000 kg and capacity upto 48 tons of tipper trailer capacity upto 32cbm. The
axles fitted on tipper trailer of capacity beyond 32 cbm are of VB type
tri-axle. |
| TYRES : |
| The tyres fitted for ATLAS Tipper semi trailer are
all steel-cord radial tyre suitable on/off roaad conditions whi ch
provide absolute traction and gives excellent cut and wear resistance.
The tyres selected are suitable for increased loading capacities and
maximum vehicle stability at high speed. |
| BRAKES AND ELECTRICALS
|
| Two line pneumatic brake system, acting on all
wheels with "S" cam actuation. Two double acting diaphragm brake chamber
per axle with service and emergency lines, air reservoir and manually
operated parking brake. The trailer electricals comprises of 7 pin plug
(aluminium) confirming to DIN and ISO spec., a pair of rear light
comprising of tail, stop & side indicators, side marker lamps 5 nos
provided on either side of the tipper body fitted with high intensity
bulbs of 12/24 voltage conforming to SAE
standards. |

| SURFACE TREATMENT |
| Surface of ATLAS Tipper Semi Trailers is blasted to
S.A.2.5 Swedish standards / painted with one coat of primer and two
coats of epoxy paint single color to customers
choice. |
